SY-1
The SY High Data-rate S-band Transmitter is a CubeSat compatible Transmitter designed to meet the needs of high data-rate downlinks of up to 10 Mbps (usable information bitrate at CCSDS transfer frame level). The transmitter can be used for both TT&C or PDT downlinks. The S-band transmitter is flexible, implementing CCSDS as data link layer protocol and allowing in-flight configuration of data-rate, modulation scheme, frequency, and RF output power.

GEPZ-1
GEPZ-1
Earth Electromagnetic Field Generator.
The generator’s magnetic field value is from 0.20 Gs to 0.90 Gs (at the geomagnetic poles). The magnetic field intensity varies from 20 μT to 100 μT in the magnetic pole region. Depending on the distance to which the geomagnetic field sphere is radiated.
On Earth, we are shielded from most of the cosmic radiation by our planet’s atmosphere and magnetic field. In just one day beyond these protective layers, astronauts are exposed to the equivalent of radiation received on Earth in a whole year. Explorers venturing even farther, for example during future missions to Mars, will need another way to protect themselves from these harmful rays.
Bulky containers built into spacesuits, spacecraft, and rockets can protect against radiation when an electromagnetic field similar to Earth’s is applied.
